Harpist Yasuko Naka to perform in Lafcadio Hearn Japanese Gardens

Japanese-Irish musician Yasuko Naka will perform at Lafcadio Hearn Japanese Gardens in Tramore, Co Waterford.
Japanese Irish musician Yasuko Naka will giving a special performance at Lafcadio Hearn Japanese Gardens in Tramore, Co. Waterford.
Naka will be playing 6pm on Saturday evening, August 24, for the Garden's annual fund-raising concert.
Tickets cost €15 and the proceeds will go to the development of their Kokoro Interpretative Centre.
Ticket holders can also take the opportunity to visit the gardens, provided they arrive an hour before the concert.
Naka is an established performer of Irish traditional music, and has performed at many public events including St. Patrick’s Day events in Japan as well as in receptions hosted by the Irish Embassy in Japan.
At these events, she has sung the national anthems of both Japan and Ireland.
Naka started her entertainment performance career at Takarazuka Revue, a Japanese professional musical performance group, in 1983.
She is also a member of Japan Celtic society, and a member of Shamrock Ladies Society of Japan.
