The Ard Rí Hotel in Ferrybank

Gardaí are making enquiries after a report of a fire at the old Ard Rí Hotel in Waterford.

A spokesperson for An Garda Síochána confirmed to the Waterford News and Star that they received a report of a fire at a vacant building at Ferrybank at around 8:45am on March 18.

Gardaí say no injuries were reported and enquiries are ongoing.

It is understood that the fire service also attended.
