Gardaí in Waterford seize large haul of fireworks

As part of Operation Tombola, a warrant was conducted on a property in Waterford City today.
Gardaí recovered a sizeable amount of fireworks.
“It is important to reaffirm that fireworks are illegal and unsafe,” a statement from An Garda Siochana Waterford said.
Operation Tombola is a nationwide policing plan focused on the prevention and detection of the sale of fireworks and associated public order and anti-social behaviour issues during the Halloween period.
