It's time to dust off the runners and go out and have some fun as 'Gaelic For Mothers And Others' is coming to County Waterford.
The initiative, which is aimed at women aged 25 and over, encourages people to play Gaelic football in a fun, non-competitive and social environment. The initiative will take place in Ballymacarbry and will provide a social outlet for one hour per week with a bit of football too.
One of those involved commented: "We encourage those who have played before and those who haven't. All are welcome to participate and have some fun."
For more information or to register interest, contact Eimear 087 6194404.
The first night will take place on Thursday, March 6, at 9pm. The cost will be only €3 each night and the organisers are looking forward to forming their first Gaelic for Mothers and Others team.
