A planning application has been approved by Waterford City and County Council for the restoration of a manor in Waterford, which is associated with billionaire businessman James Dyson.
One of Britain's richest men, vacuum cleaner magnate James Dyson reportedly purchased Ballynatray House for over €30 million earlier this year, making it one of Ireland's most expensive private home sales ever.
Upcoming works include the construction of a new single-storey extension at the ground floor and restorations to the west wall of the main house.
Permission was previously granted this year for the restoration of stone chimneys and multiple gatehouses.
