Funeral details revealed for Waterford farmer who died following incident at his property

John Cashman of Rockfield House, Cappagh

The funeral details for a Waterford man who died following an incident at his property on Tuesday, April 14, have been announced.

John Cashman, of Rockfield House, Cappagh, will repose at The Kiely Funeral Home, Dungarvan, on Friday evening, April 17, from 5pm. Prayers will take place at 7pm.

Requiem Mass will take place on Saturday, April 18, at 2pm in St. James’ Church. Interment will take place afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

The church will livestream the requiem mass.

Mr Cashman was a well-known farmer in the area and ran for local election in 2004. He was 73 at the time of his death.

He is survived by his wife Gillian, two daughters and two sons, four grandchildren, his siblings Pat, Jim, Catherine, Bill, Norie, Claire, Eileen and Margo, extended family and friends.

May he Rest in Peace.
