The fundraising effort continues in the Déise for the purchase of a West Waterford Rapid Response Vehicle and there was a great show of support for the cause recently when members of the fundraising committee took to the streets to highlight the campaign.

Volunteers from the campaign team were out and about in Dungarvan town to express their gratitude for the incredible support demonstrated so far for what could potentially be a life saving cause.

"From local retail outlets, pharmacies, health specialists, insurance providers, hospitality providers, restaurants to a host of fundraising events, the West Waterford Rapid Response Vehicle cause continues to receive an outpouring of support from all communities and sectors," said the spokesperson.
