Festive Star cover painting raises €1,000 for WLR FM's St Vincent de Paul Appeal

The original artwork for the cover of Festive Star 2024, the Waterford News & Star Christmas Annual, has raised a fantastic €1,000 for a very good cause.
Keeping with the lovely tradition of donating the Festive Star cover painting, created by Waterford artist Lisa Keane, to the WLR FM Christmas Appeal for the St Vincent de Paul, the artwork has this year raised €1,000.
All monies raised through the appeal will be spent in Waterford by St Vincent De Paul, an organisation dedicated to alleviating poverty and providing critical support to those facing hardship during the Christmas season and beyond.
