Emergency services are attending the scene of a two-car crash in Waterford

Emergency services attend the scene of the accident outside Waterford City

The emergency services are currently at the scene of a two-car collision on the outskirts of Waterford.

The accident occurred at the Grannagh junction roundabout on the Waterford by-pass shortly before 3pm.

The ambulance service, Gardaí and two units of the fire service attended the scene.

The outbound lane out of the city is open, however, there may be traffic delays while the emergency services tend to the scene.
