Dungarvan Park Hotel awarded Wedding Hotel of the Year for Munster

The Dungarvan Park Hotel has been named as the Wedding Hotel of the Year for the Munster region, at the Irish Hotel Awards.

The award show, which took place at the Johnstown Estate in Meath, was judged following a visit and overnight stay at each of the hotels, ensuring the judges had an authentic view of each hotel's strengths and standout offerings. The Dungarvan Park Hotel said the judging team visited their hotel while a wedding was taking place and got to see their offering during the ceremony.

“We are delighted with the recognition these awards give to our fantastic hotel team, especially as we pride ourselves on being a wedding destination”, the hotel’s General Manager, Declan Moriarty said.

“We are always trying to innovate, improve our offering and anticipate what our wedding clients would love to see on their big day," he added.

“We have been hosting weddings successfully for many years and have a stellar reputation for our superior hospitality so let our family look after yours.”

The 84-bedroom, 4-star Déise hotel is part of the award-winning Flynn Hotel Collection and focuses on being a wedding hotel. It's located on five acres of landscaped gardens in the harbour town of Dungarvan and overlooking the Colligan Estuary.

The hotel has an upcoming wedding showcase, on Sunday, January 12, from 1 pm to 5pm, at the hotel, which will allow couples to meet with the hotel’s dedicated wedding planner.
