Concerns over new vape shop location in Waterford
Cllr Joe Conway raised concerns regarding the placement of a vape store in Tramore
A local councillor has raised concerns over the appearance of a vape store in Tramore’s public realm.
At last week’s meeting of Waterford Metropolitan Council members, Cllr Joe Conway queried the placement of the store.
Cllr Conway said: “In Tramore we have the dubious advantage of having right smack bang in the middle of our public realm, which we spent so much money on in the last few years, a vape shop'
He asked Council executives: “I’m just wondering how does that tie in with harmonious planning in the middle of such a lovely part of the town?”
In response to the query, David Quinn, Waterford Council Executive Planner said he would discuss the matter further with Cllr Conway.
