The service station on the Park Road is set to reopen soon.

The service station on the Park Road in Waterford City is set to reopen under new management.

Work is currently being carried out at the Daybreak shop, which has been closed since the end of last year.

A sign asking motorists to respect the space and the new leaseholders has been placed on the forecourt.

It says: "The Park Road Service Station will be reopening soon, including its shop and deli facilities!

"To ensure smooth operation and convenience for everyone, please adhere to the following respect designated markings.

The road to the rear of the Park Road businesses must be kept clear at all times Vehicles at fuel pumps must be actively fueling or visiting the shop. Please do not park unnecessarily.

Be kind to the Service Station and support the new leaseholders as they serve the community.

"Thank you for your cooperation. Let's work together to make this a great place for all."

Daybreak Park Road began advertising for new staff earlier this month on Facebook.
