Cllr. Lola O'Sullivan elected Mayor of Waterford Metropolitan District At the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Waterford Metropolitan District Council, held in City Hall on Thursday, June 18, Cllr. Lola O'Sullivan was elected Mayor of Waterford Metropolitan District.
Cllr. Declan Barry was elected Deputy Mayor of Waterford Metropolitan District.
Cllr. O'Sullivan succeeds outgoing Metropolitan Mayor, Cllr. Adam Wyse, while Cllr. Barry takes up the role of Deputy Mayor, succeeding Cllr. O'Sullivan, who served in the position over the past year.
The election of the Mayor and Deputy Mayor marks the beginning of a new civic year for Waterford Metropolitan District Council, with both councillors assuming their respective leadership roles following the AGM.
