Civic amenity site in Waterford to temporarily close

A civic amenity site in Waterford is to close temporarily this week.
The Kilbarry Civic Amenity Site (X91X97R) will be closed from Monday, June 8 until Wednesday, June 10.
A spokesperson for Waterford City & County Council said the closure is necessary to facilitate management and maintenance works.
"The purpose of these works is to carry out repairs to the leachate and waste collection systems to ensure compliance with Waterford City and County Council's waste licence," noted the spokesperson.
"Please note that to facilitate these works and to ensure health and safety, the Kilbarry Civic Amenity Site will be closed to the public during the works," she added.
Waterford City and County Council apologises for inconvenience caused during the duration of the works.
