Bus Crash in Ardmore

On Wednesday morning December 3, a bus rolled away from it's parking spot and crashed into a sea wall in Ardmore.

A double-decker bus has crashed in Ardmore, Co Waterford. 

On Wednesday morning December 3, a bus rolled away from it's parking spot and crashed into a sea wall in Ardmore. 

The bus was part of the 260 Cork-Ardmore route.

As reported by the Irish Examiner, the bus 'descended a couple of metres onto the road, crashed through a large, stone flower pot, mounted the opposite footpath, knocked over a signpost and sent a section of wall tumbling onto the strand below'. It is understood that there have been no injuries reported. 

Emergency services quickly attended the scene and workers from Waterford County Council cordoned off the area. 

Bus Éireann have confirmed that they are investigating the incident.
