BREAKING: Waterford man found guilty of sexual assault

A Waterford man accused of the sexual assault of a teenager has been found guilty after a week long trial at Waterford Circuit Criminal Court this lunchtime.
The 67 year old man pleaded not guilty to the charge and denied the allegation.
The jury deliberated for over four hours before delivering their unanimous verdict.
The assault is believed to have happened between January 1 2009 and December 31 2010, both dates inclusive.
The victim, now in her 30's, knew the man since she was a teenager.
On the night of the assault, he plied her with alcohol and abused her while she was unconscious.
