The body of a man was discovered in Tramore today.

A Garda spokesperson confirmed to the Waterford News & Star: "Gardaí received a report of the discovery of the body of a male at Tramore, Co. Waterford, today, Tuesday 24th December 2024.

"No further information is available at this time."

It is understood the man's body was transferred to the mortuary at University Hospital Waterford.
