A huge effort by a big team of generous volunteers saw a mountain of roadside rubbish collected last Saturday morning in our village and surrounding townlands.
Almost 100km of roadside rubbish was collected, which is an amazing feat.
Hopefully, road users will acknowledge this monumental effort and stop dumping their rubbish on the roadside.
