Celebrity Eclipse

The 2,850 passenger cruise ship ‘Celebrity Eclipse’ is due to port in Dunmore East this Friday (July 25).

The vessel is currently embarked on an eleven day round-trip of Iceland and Ireland.

It departed from Amsterdam last Wednesday.

Its current location is in the North East Atlantic Ocean en-route to Cobh in county Cork.

It is due to arrive in Dunmore East on Friday at approximately 7am.

Its visit to Dunmore East is its final port before returning to Amsterdam.

Celebrity Eclipse is a Solstice-class cruise ship operated by Celebrity Cruises.

The ship debuted in February 2010 as the third ship in the Solstice Class.

It is 1041ft in length. It has 15 decks and 1,425 cabins.
