Senator Cummins continued: “We all know the fantastic work Tidy Towns groups put in throughout the year, they have the will and desire to make sure their communities look their best. In rain or sunshine they roll up their sleeves and get stick in and I’m delighted that we are able to support them in their efforts”.

“I am firmly committed to ensuring that every community in Waterford is enabled to thrive and flourish and small funding streams like these go a very long way. The people involved in local groups like these have demonstrated their commitment to making our communities the best possible place to live, work and raise a family in.

"I know they are always looking for additional volunteers to help out so if you have a few hours to spare, I know each group would be grateful for an extra pair of hands” concluded Senator Cummins
