Significant traffic delays expected as Rice Bridge roadworks take place next week

There will be single lane closures next week on Rice Bridge to facilitate mechanical works.

Motorists and pedestrians are advised of the following dates and times:

Saturday, August 15th: Single outbound lane closed from 7.30am until 12pm 

Monday, August 17th: Single outbound lane closed from 9.30am until 3pm 

Tuesday, August 18th: Single inbound lane closed from 10am until approx. 3pm 

Traffic management will be in place, and motorists are advised to expect delays.

"Waterford City and County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused and seeks the understanding and co-operation of the public during the course of these works" said a spokesperson from the local authority.
