Maura Higgins among stars at Cannes Film Festival gala

Irish Love Island star Maura Higgins was among the stars on the red carpet at the annual amfAR Gala Cannes 2026 gala. 

Higgins wore an eye-catching pink dress to the event, which also included the likes of Eva Longoria, Heidi Klum, Lizzo and Robbie Williams.

The gala is considered one of the most exclusive events at Cannes. It raises money for HIV/Aids research, and last year's edition took in donations worth $17 million (€14.6 million).

Higgins recently appeared in the US edition of The Traitors and I'm A Celebrity.

She described appearing at the gala as a "dream". Higgins said her career had taken "a whole different turn" since her appearance on The Traitors.
