Man dies after medical incident at Galway train station
A man has died following a medical incident at Galway’s Ceannt train station in the city centre on Friday morning.
The incident happened at 7am.
Despite emergency services arriving on the scene and the best efforts of the medical team, the man passed away.
A spokesperson said to Breakingnews: "At c. 07:00hrs this morning, a customer had a serious medical emergency at Ceannt Station, Galway. Emergency services attended, and despite medical assistance from paramedics, he sadly passed away.
"We extend our deepest sympathies to the man’s family, with whom he was travelling. Station staff on site provided family members with care and assistance arising from their tragic loss."
