Man and woman arrested after drugs seized in Co Cork
A man and woman have been arrested after gardaí seized cannabis and cocaine in Cobh, Co Cork.
Gardaí conducted a search of a residential property in the Cobh area on Saturday.
During the course of the search, gardaí recovered cannabis with an estimated value of approximately €50,000, along with a small quantity of cocaine.
Additionally, utensils associated with the mixing and preparation of drugs were also found at the premises.
A man in his 30s and a woman in her 20s were arrested in connection with the investigation.
Both individuals are currently detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996 at a Garda Stations in the Southern Region.
The seized substances will be sent to Forensic Science Ireland (FSI) for analysis.
Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
