It comes as those worst hit by floodwaters during Storm Chandra on Tuesday have been told to apply for emergency payments.

There is a yellow rain warning issued for Carlow, Kilkenny, Louth, Wexford, Wicklow, and Waterford.

The warning will come into effect from midnight on Tuesday and will also be in place for Wexford and Wicklow

The warning is valid from 2am until 8am on Tuesday.

An orange warning has been issued for Cork, Kerry, Waterford, and Wexford on 7 am on Tuesday until 3 pm.

The warning begins on Friday at 11 am until 5 pm.

The warning will come into effect at 2pm on Sunday until 9am on Monday.

Met Éireann has warned of significant rainfall accumulations, especially on high ground and exposed areas, in counties under the status orange rain warning.

A yellow rain warning has been issued for Carlow, Kilkenny, Wexford, Wicklow, Tipperary, Cork, Kerry, and Waterford.

An advisory for rain starts at 8pm and lasts until, 3am on Wednesday for Cork and Kerry.

Met Éireann has warned of difficult travelling conditions, localised flooding, and poor visibility.

The warning came into effect at 10am on Thursday. 

The warning has been issued for Clare, Donegal, Mayo, Leitrim, Sligo, and Galway, and will last until 6 pm on Thursday.

It will affect Louth, Meath, Dublin, Wicklow and Wexford from 9pm on Tuesday until 2pm on Wednesday.

From 2 pm on Friday until 2 pm on Saturday, a yellow rain warning is in place for Carlow, Kilkenny, Galway, Wexford, and all of Munster.

Cork, Kerry and Waterford could see spot flooding and difficult travelling conditions from 9 am.

A yellow alert has just come into effect for Cork and will last until 8am Friday while in Waterford, the warning will run from 6:00 pm on Thursday until midday Friday.

The orange wind warning for Carlow, Dublin, Kildare, Kilkenny, Laois, Offaly, Wexford, Wicklow, and Munster is set to expire at 4pm on Friday, as throusands remain without power.

Donegal is under a rain alert until 11am, while Cork and Kerry will be affected by a similar warning until Wednesday morning at 6am.

Meanwhile, Donegal, Mayo and Galway will be under a status yellow wind warning from midnight until 11am on Tuesday as well.

Met Éireann has issued a status orange rain warning for Waterford as part of Storm Bert from midnight tonight to 10am on Saturday, November 22.

The warning has been issued for Mayo, Cork, Galway, Kerry, Limerick and Clare.

Met Éireann says heavy and persistent rain will lead to spot flooding.

The advisory for Cork, Kerry, Clare, Galway, Mayo, Donegal, Sligo and Leitrim will come into effect from 10pm on Monday and run for 12 hours.

It is as the remnants of Hurricane Ernesto tracks towards Ireland.

The affected counties includes all of Leinster along with Cavan, Monaghan, Leitrim, Roscommon, Tipperary and Waterford.

The warning is valid from 10:26am this morning to 9pm on Saturday evening.

There will be high spring tides with very strong and gusty southwest winds.
