Weather warning issued for County Waterford
The warning has been given a status yellow level
Waterford City & County Council has issued a alert on behalf of Met Éireann for County Waterford.
The warning, which will come into effect from midnight on Tuesday, January 27 until 6pm that same evening, is a rain warning and has been designated Yellow level status.
In the notice the local authority stated that while it's a moderate weather warning for rain with a risk of flooding.
Met Éíreann said there will be outbreaks of rain, heavy at times, and the possible impacts could include localised flooding and travel conditions might also prove difficult.
In addition to Waterford other counties for which the warning is in place include Wexford and Wicklow.
