Garda Community Engagement

On Wednesday, April 16, the An Gárda Síochána Community Van visited local areas as part of their community engagement initiative to engage with any of the community who needed help to complete forms, discuss concerns, report a crime, or any other business that requires Gárda attention.

Congratulations

To our neighbours, The Comeragh Community Development Group, recent winners at the 2025 Forestry Awards winning the RDS Woodland Award with the development of The Crough Wood Walk that is so beneficial for the local community and visitors alike. We appreciate how hard you have all worked to get such a wonderful project accepted for a national award.

Parish Draw

Thanks to all the promoters who have been getting their cards filled for the parish draw that is due to start after Easter. There is still time if you have not already joined. It costs €20 for 12 weeks. This is the main fundraiser for the parish that supports the cost of maintenance, insurance and all other outlays. There are still cards available at the sacristy of the three churches. If you are not in you cannot win!!
