Plenty of neckerchief, woggle and badge swapping took place. We owe a massive thank you to Tramore Scouts 8th for organising such a fantastic trip and including us.

Lisnakill Cemetery Mass

This Mass was celebrated by Fr Dawit Fekle on a lovely sunny evening in Butlerstown recently. The attendance included many parishioners who came to remember their loved ones buried long ago, and the many families with no one to pray for them and remember them too. It is a lovely tradition in our parish to still honour those who have no one to pray for them. The evening was very sacred and the atmosphere greatly enhanced by the music of Damien as the congregation responded by singing and praying together, led by Fr Dawit. An evening of peace in a beautiful setting.

Retirement

Henry de Bromhead announced the retirement of Minella Indo this week/ “He was a savage horse, and absolute legend who was owned by wonderful people. The Moloneys are such terrific supporters of ours and the sport in general so it was amazing for them to have Indo. He was a special horse, and we had some of the most wonderful days together. Of course, he had the best of trainers in Harry de Bromhead. Enjoy sweet pastures and sunny days Indo.
