Local Notes: New community playground and the local bingo
It was a firm thumbs up when the new playground opened
Ballymacarbry Community Centre is thrilled to announce the opening of Panda Playground. The security fencing has been taken down, and the playground is now open for everyone to enjoy.
This amazing amenity is a fantastic addition to our community, providing a wonderful space for kids and families to play, relax, and create lasting memories. Since opening the playground has been a hive of activity.
The space was once an occasionally used carpark and has now become central meeting point for our community and will be so for years to come.
Come join us and explore the fun and excitement at Panda Playground; we can’t wait to see you there.
We continue to receive much needed financial support from the community for the amenity and thanks to all those who have supported us and donated. We are still short of our required fund of €170,000. A bank loan is being used to bridge this gap.

By donating you are contributing to a wonderful long lasting amenity which will bring laughter and fun into the heart of our beautiful village for years to come. We plan to have an official opening event for Panda Playground in the coming weeks. Details of this event will be well communicated in advance.
