The standard of hurling in the Bcukley Cup has been fantastic
A handful of tickets still remain for ‘Da’, which comes to Ballymacarbry Community Centre on Friday, January 30. We are delighted to host once again, the extraordinarily talented Brideview Drama group, from Tallow, for what promises to be yet another spell binding performance. This years production is described as ‘an hilarious comedy’ and follows on from last years extremely successful production of ‘The Weir’. This will be a guaranteed sell-out so grab the last tickets while you can. Tickets are great value at €15 and are now available from the community centre (086 032 8467), the school, and the local tidy towns committee.
Dance classes with Gina returned last week so make this your new years resolution. Dances covered include the Waltz, Foxtrot, Jive, Cha-Cha, Line dancing and more. Classes take place each Wednesday with 7pm and 8pm class options for those interested. The cost is €50 per five week block. Space is limited so book your spot ASAP. Badminton takes place in the centre each Tuesday evening from 8pm - 10pm. All abilities are welcome for some fun exercise. Cost is €5 per night. Contact Siobhan on 086 8775670 if you are interested.

Last Friday night saw the completion of week two of the Buckley Cup.
Tuesday night saw the whites vs greens and the reds v blacks. Last Friday saw another two exciting games with the yellows v whites and the blues v greens.
The standard of hurling was fantastic with some great individual displays. Well done to all players and coaches involved.
Its wonderful to see such excitement and competition during the dark month of January.
