'The Weir' will be staged in Ballymacarbry

Ballymacarbry Community Centre

Looking forward to 2025, all at the centre would like to wish the entire community a very happy New Year and we sincerely hope that everyone enjoyed the Christmas break. We look forward to another busy year in the centre as we plan to continue working hard on various grants and initiatives to continually invest in the development of the community centre building. We are very excited to continue our work with all local groups and individuals again for the coming year.

Night of Drama

A night of drama is coming to Ballymacarbry with the hugely talented Brideview Drama Tallow, who recently won second place in the All-Ireland One Act Open Finals. They are coming to Ballymacarbry Community Centre on Friday, January 31. The group will perform the critically acclaimed, 'The Weir', by Conor McPherson on what is sure to be a fantastic night of drama. Tickets will be €15 and will go on sale very soon (details on how to secure tickets will be widely publicised once available).

For now, please mark the date in your diary for what promises to be a very special event in Ballymacarbry. All proceeds will be going to a number of local causes.

Ballymac Bingo Is Back

January is usually a quiet month for many after the madness of Christmas. Why not get back going again with our next Ballymac Bingo event which takes place on Friday, January 24th. First call will be at 8pm sharp so get down early. Our jackpot prize is well over €500 now which will come in handy to pay off some of those Christmas bills. See you there.
