The above have been rehearsing for their new play for some time called, 'Tales of the Estuary', which they will present at two venues. The first is coming up on two nights, Friday and Saturday, March 28 and 29, at 8pm in the Passage East Community Centre. The show will also be staged on Friday and Saturday, April 4 and 5, in Faithlegg School at 8 pm. All tickets are priced €5. Its a powerful 60-minute journey through history, resilience, and community brought to life on stage. By all accounts it has plenty in it for locals to enjoy.
The death took place recently of Mrs Mary Kelly (nee: Fardey) Ferrybank and Ballybeg Park, Waterford. Mary, together with her late husband John, spent many great nights in the 'Saratoga', in Woodstown for many years enjoying the 'sing song' and both of them were very much involved in the singing. The late Mary's rendition of 'Paper Roses', was always her favourite and which all present loved to hear. Sympathy is extended to all her family, son, daughter, sister and brothers and extended family. Thanks for all the memories Mary and may you rest in peace.
