On Friday week last, in Walsh Park, the Passage seniors were very unlucky to be beaten by just one point by De La Salle. It was level pegging at half time but Passage had a very good spell in the second half to go three points clear and in the last few minutes a sub came on for De La Salle and he scored what proved to be a vital goal. Passage still came back and got within a point of them but it was too late. Well done to all for a vastly improved display after a defeat by Mt Sion in Round 1.
On Friday last Passage met Lismore in the Preliminary Quarter Final in Fraher Field and at the time of writing it was hoped for a positive outcome. These notes go in on Thursday. The minors continued their fine form with a six point victory over Clonea in Passage recently.
