The SETU Wildcats have claimed the Women's Super League title for a first time since 2001 after recording a 79-73 win over Gurranabraher Credit Union Brunell this afternoon (Sunday).
Jillian Hayes-Hickey's side claim the regular league season with two games to spare as they are six points clear, but a head-to-head success over FloMAX Liffey Celtics, ensures the title.
They will face Utility Trust St. Paul's in their final home game on Saturday next at the Mercy Gym before the playoffs for the overall champions.
