Limerick and Clare's All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship semi-final clash has just thrown in at Croke Park.

The Treaty County are targeting a place in the decider for the first time since 2023, while Brian Lohan's side's last championship appearance at GAA HQ came two years ago when they claimed the Liam MacCarthy Cup.

Today's winners will face Galway in the final later this month after the Leinster champions got the better of Cork on Saturday.

Galway will take on Kilkenny and Cork will go up against Tipperary in the All-Ireland Senior Camogie Championship semi-finals.

Both ties will take place at FBD Semple Stadium on Saturday, July 25th.

The draw for the semi-finals was made this afternoon following Tipperary's 3-20 to 3-13 quarter-final defeat of Clare.

Cork are the All-Ireland Minor Football champions.

The Rebels overcame Tyrone by 2-16 to 1-16 in today's final in Newbridge.

There's an all-Connacht affair in this evening's All-Ireland Ladies Football Championship quarter-final.

Galway and Mayo go head-to-head at 5.45pm in Tuam.

There are two last-16 fixtures at the World Cup tonight.

At 9pm, Brazil face Norway.

England travel to the Azteca Stadium to face Mexico at 1am.

Golf

Padraig Harrington is two shots ahead at the top of the US Senior Open leaderboard.

The three-time major champion is two under par through seven holes of his final round in Ohio.

Harrington previously won the event in 2022 and 2025.
