St Pat's close gap on Shamrock Rovers with win over Drogheda

St Patrick's Athletic have closed the gap on Shamrock Rovers to four points at the top of the League of Ireland with a 2-0 win against Drogheda United.
The first goal of the game came in the 17th minute, as Anthony Olusanya's goal gave Stephen Kenny's team the lead.
The three points were secured by Barry Baggley as they secured an important victory at Sullivan and Lambe Park.
The win puts them four points behind the leaders, Shamrock Rovers, who have a game in hand.
Three points behind St Pat's is Bohemians, after they defeated Derry City 5-3 in a thriller at Dalymount Park.
Michael Duffy's goal in the 34th minute gave Derry the lead at the interval.
However, three goals in six minutes fromPatrick Hickey, Connor Parsons, and Douglas James-Taylor had Bohemians 3-1 up in the 53rd minute.
It went from bad to worse for Derry, who had James Clarke sent off just two minutes later.
Tyler Smith's goal in the 62nd minute gave Derry some hope, but two goals from Ross Tierney ensured an important win for Alan Reynolds' side.
Duffy scored a consolation with a penalty in the 96th minute.
At the other end of the table, Sligo Rovers could not find the goal they needed as they drew 0-0 against Waterford.

In the night's other game, Galway were 2-1 winners away to Dundalk.
Edward McCarthy's goal gave Galway the lead after nine minutes, which was doubled in the 55th minute by Kristopher Twardek.
Trevor Clarkes' goal in the 85th minute gave Dundalk hop in the final stages, but it was Galway who held on for victory in Oriel Park.
