Waterford team for Munster opener against Clare is named

Waterford Senior hurling manager Peter Queally has named his starting team to take on Clare in the Munster Senior hurling championship opener at Cusack Park on Sunday with a 2pm throw-in. 

Mark Fitzgerald will captain the side in place of Conor Prunty, who misses out through injury, with Calum Lyons selected at wing back. Dessie Hutchinson will lead the full-forward line that includes Sean Walsh and Michael Kiely. 

Mount Sion's Austin Gleeson is named on the bench for the opening game.
