Waterford senior and minor teams named ahead of huge GAA weekend

It's a busy weekend for Waterford inter-county teams with both minor teams and the senior hurlers all in action.
No offence to the minor teams but the biggest game of the weekend is in the Gaelic Grounds in Limerick on Sunday when both teams will be fighting for their championship lives in the final round of the Munster SHC.
Davy Fitzgerald and his selectors have named their team and it shows just one change from the team that started in Ennis on Sunday last against Clare with Ballysaggart's coming into the team, to join his brothers Kieran and Stephen, in place of Patrick Curran.
Ballyunner's Ian Kenny, who was a late replacement before last Sunday's game, retains his place in the number four position, with Iarlaith Daly moving to full-back.
On the bench, Clonea's Willie Hahessy who was a late call up to the replacements last Sunday retains his place in the squad, while Abbeyside's Neil Montgomery, who missed the Clare game entirely, is back amongst the subs, but again Abbeyside's Conor Prunty has missed out due to injury. The Waterford team in full is:

John Kiely and his selectors have also named the Limerick team to face Waterford. A win for either teams guarantees them passage beyond this stage, while a draw will also do both teams. Defeat for both teams will almost certainly see them out.

James O'Connor and his selectors have also named their team to take on Galway in the All-Ireland MHC quarter-finals in Semple Stadium in Thurles tomorrow....

While at the same time, the Déise minor footballers are in action in Lemybrien against Laois in their All-Ireland Quarter-final after their fine win over Offaly last weekend. This is the team that Paul Power and his selectors are sending into battle....

We wish all three Waterford teams (and the Waterford camogie team) the very best of luck.....
