A limited number of stand and terrace tickets were made available earlier this morning (Thursday) for Waterford GAA members through an exclusive link through ticketmaster.
It comes after the Waterford County board wrote to Croke Park expressing their disappointment at the handling of ticketing ahead of Sunday's National Hurling League double header at Pairc Ui Chaoimh where Waterford face Offaly in the Division 1B decider at 1.45pm before Cork face Tipperary in the Division 1A final at 4pm.
Clubs across the county received an email from county secretary Pat Flynn late last night to inform them a limited number of stand tickets would be available for purchase through ticketmaster's unique link. It's believed that these tickets were snapped up by GAA club members, but board officials are still "very disappointed" about how the ticket distribution was handled ahead of Sunday's final.
