Former Waterford stars join search for new manager

Ardmore's Seamus Prendergast will also help find the new Déise boss.
Former Déise stars Eoin Murphy and Seamus Prendergast will be part of the five-man selection committee to find a new Waterford senior hurling manager for 2025.
Michael Walsh from Ballyduff Upper, who recently retired as Chief Executive of Waterford City and County Council, is on board as an independent observer. County secretary Pat Flynn and vice-chairman Neil Moore will also sit on the interview panel.
The deadline for expressions of interest from Waterford clubs passed on July 19. Davy Fitzgerald stepped down as Déise bainisteoir earlier this month after two years in charge.
