Waterford Senior Camogie star Beth Carton has added to her awards collection as the Camogie Player of the Year has been named as the May winner of the PwC GPA Women’s Player of the month for May.

Carton, who has been scintillating for Waterford in recent years, produced some stunning performances during the month including her performance against Tipperary in the Munster semi-final where she scored an impressive 1-11.

The De La Salle forward went onto notch another 12 points in Waterford’s final defeat against Cork, and her leadership qualities have led to her being rewarded with the PwC GPA Women’s Player of the Month for Camogie.

Kerry’s Danielle O’Leary has been named as the PwC GPA Women’s Player of the Month winner in football with Cork’s Darragh Fitzgibbon and Donegal’s Peadar Mogan named the PwC GAA/GPA Players of the Month in hurling and football for May Commenting on the awards, Enda McDonagh, Managing Partner, PwC Ireland, said: “The provincial finals are steeped in tradition and always an exciting time of year, and this year was no different, thanks to some outstanding performances.
