Beth Carton receives her All Star Award

There was double All Star success for the Déise on Saturday night as the PwC Camogie All Stars and TG4 Ladies’ Football All Stars took place respectively in Dublin.

The Camogie awards took place at Croke Park whilst the Ladies’ Football awards were held at the Bonnington Hotel.

There were nine Waterford players in contention for awards - six in Camogie and three for Ladies’ Football as a result of stellar 2025 campaigns.

Waterford took home one All Star in each code on a night to remember. Beth Carton won her fifth PwC Camogie All Star as she was named in the half forward line.

The De La Salle star (27) was the top scorer from play in the All-Ireland Senior Camogie Championship in 2025 as she scored 3-22 on Waterford’s journey to a third semi-final in four seasons.

Emma Murray is the first Waterford player to win a Ladies’ Football All Star Award since 2007. The Comeragh Rangers captain produced a number of stellar displays in both league and championship in a memorable campaign for the Déise before going on to captain her club to Munster glory.

Murray is the first Waterford player to win a Ladies’ Football All Star since Rebecca Hallahan 18 years prior.

Her county teammates Bríd McMaugh and Lauren McGregor were also nominated while on the camogie front - Abby Flynn, Brianna O’Regan, Lorraine Bray, Niamh Rockett and Vikki Falconer were among the contenders.
