Woman stole fake nails from TK Maxx in Waterford

A woman appeared in Waterford District Court last week over a theft committed at TK Maxx in Poleberry, Waterford City.
Constanta Rostas (27), of 58 Manor Street, Waterford, previously appeared before Judge Kevin Staunton on counts of theft and aggressive begging.
Last week she appeared on a fresh charge of Section 4 theft from TK Maxx, for stealing fake nails from the store.
She has 16 previous convictions, five for begging and 11 for theft.
During last week’s court hearing, Judge John Cheatle ordered the woman to pay €50 to the Court Poor Box.
If she comes to no further adverse Garda attention between now and December, the theft matter will be struck out.
