The Copper Coast Minifarm, Fenor, is set to permanently close in 2026 after 22 years in business.

Based ten minutes outside of Tramore, the family-run enterprise spanned over four acres and was home to alpacas, llamas, sika deer, rhea, horses, miniature ponies, donkeys, pygmy and Nubian & Toggenberg goats.

The mini farm had an on-site café, the ‘Copper Kettle Tearoom’, as well as an outdoor Go-Kart track.

Manager Tanya Power announced the mini farm’s closure on New Year’s Eve.

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who played their part in making the mini farm a great place to visit,” Ms Power wrote.

“No doubt there were many wonderful memories made here over the past 22 years. From the owners, to the staff, volunteers and the animals, with all my heart I thank you.

“And to all of you who have taken the time to visit Copper Coast Mini Farm, a huge thank you. It was a pleasure to meet you all over the years.

“It’s been a privilege to work with such great staff, visitors and animals over the years. I will miss you all very much.”

Ms Power said that an animal therapy facility- which was initially planned to open in the mini farm- will now longer be available, with an alternative premises now being sought.
