There is great excitement in one County Waterford village at the moment as the local national school has won it's way through to the Munster final of Fyffe's Fittest School competition.

The pupils and staff in Ballymacarbry National School won their way through to the final after 10 weeks of energy, effort a lot of great teamwork.

The school is just one of four across Munster to be chosen to compete in the regional final which will take place in Charleville on April 30.

Representatives from each class will take part, and they will be hoping to win a spot in the All-Ireland final in the hope of bringing home the title of Fyffe's Fittest School to Waterford.
