Waterford road closed for maintenance works

Motorists are advised to take note of a road closure in County Waterford.

The L5055 Cluttahina Road closed on Thursday, February 6 to enable essential road works to take place.

An online notice from Waterford City & County Council stated: 'The L5055 Cluttahina Road (Cappoquin) will be closed from today, February 6, for essential road maintenance works.'

The notice also stated there will be a 'No Through Road' in place with local access only.

'The road will be closed between the junctions of the L1026 Tooranaraheen and the L5054 Moneygorm Road,' stated the notice. Caution is also advised to residents due to construction machinery on the road and excavation works.
