RNLI Helvick Head, in County Waterford, was recently presented with a €1000 donation from Zinnia Technology Services Ireland Ltd.

Commenting on presentation, a spokesperson of the branch told Waterford News & Star: "Zinnia Technology Services Ireland Ltd. has generously made a €1,000 donation to RNLI Helvick lifeboat station."

The donation was presented this month by Zinnia's Director of Technology Benny Barry and Software Engineer, Eric Denmead, at Helvick lifeboat station.

The presentation was also made ahead of the RNLI Helvic and Dungarvan fundraising committee's Annual General meeting, which is due to take place on February 21, at 8pm.

The meeting will take place at the lifeboat station in Helvick and the spokesperson said: "This is an opportunity for interested individuals to learn about the station’s activities, meet the team, and explore ways to contribute to its vital mission."
