Le Chéile Mentoring is encouraging more men in Waterford to volunteer as mentors for young people involved in the youth justice system.
Volunteer mentor Mike Quinn described the experience as rewarding and said mentoring is often simply about being a positive role model and offering support.
Volunteers generally meet young people for between one and three hours each week.
Full training and ongoing support are provided.
Information sessions will be held online and further details are available through Le Chéile Mentoring.
