Waterford gardaí give update following weekend of festivities

Waterford gardaí have issued an update following a weekend of festivities in Waterford city and county.
A spokesperson said that there was little trouble at either event.
“This was a busy weekend across the city and county and with Spraoi in the city and the Altogether Now Festival in Curraghmore Estate, Portlaw. Overall, both events were without significant reported incidents.
"There were arrests for public order, drunkenness offences and an increased number of detected offences for possession of controlled drugs throughout the city and county,” said the garda spokesperson.
