Gardaí discovered nearly €900 worth of cannabis inside a coal bunker while executing a search warrant on a house in Waterford.
The court heard that on December 20, 2025, Gardaí carried out a search on 50 Ardmore Park and found €880 worth of cannabis inside a coal bunker.
Jason Westlake, of Ardmore Park, Ballybeg, Waterford, appeared in Waterford District Court before Judge Kevin Staunton in relation to the matter. He stands accused of one count of possession contrary to Section 3 of the Misuse of Drugs Act, and one count of possession contrary to Section 15 (possession for the purpose of sale or supply) of the same act.
